Instead of driving back to NC on Sunday night to make it back to work on Monday, Jeanette and I took a detour to Myrtle Beach to spend a day with her sister's family who rented a beach house for the week. It certainly wasn't the beach weather we were hoping for, but it was still fun to bundle up and enjoy family, the waves and the crisp fall air.
